What grit stone to deglaze with?

Hello Spridgets,

  I have a new set of Federal Mogul AE 21251 pistons with rings, the paperwork 
and
  the box makes no mention of the kind of rings they are...and no
  mention of what finish the cyl. walls need. What grit stone should I
  use to deglaze the cyl walls? My block has nice straight bores with
  no ridge, but it was run with some 11:1 pistons in it for a while
  and the bores are smooth.
