I don't think HD resale values are likely to dip at all. There's been
"market saturation" for many years, hasn't there?
The biggest difference in HD's is the length of time their current motors
last... like 5 to 10 times as long as they used to.
Last I heard, another investment group was trying to revive Indian. Anyone
heard anything recent?

I suspect that as HDs reach their market's saturation point they will lose
more and more of their resale value, as well.
Vics had soft gears in the trannies in 99 and 2000. The fix was to install
the 2001 gears. There is a guy from Jersey, I believe, who has well over
230,000 miles on his Victory w/o problems.
