Let me know if you need comparison photos, I still can't mine together yet
so its still all exposed.

I did get the slave apart though-I guess you don't need that much pressure
to push the piston out with the air compressor...

Hello all,----I have a friend with a rib case that is stuck in first gear.  
We'll pull the trans this weekend and have a look.   I do have one  question

though.  The last time I did a gearbox I noticed there was a grove  of sorts
on 
the inside of the selector fork. I assumed it was purposely machined  that
way 
but always wondered if it was really the result of wear.If wear caused  it, 
is there any specification as to the minimum thickness? Also, is there any  
truth to the rumor that the 5 speed Datsun boxes are getting hard to come
by?
