Brad, if you have a 5/16 nyloc nut, stick in on the slave rod, this will
extend the rod enough to at least let you know if it's too short.
The round end of a nyloc nut fits nice in the cup of the slave piston.
The length of the rod on a 1275 is 2-11/16"
