spridgets - exhaust down the tunnel

Any thickos using exhaust down the transmission tunnel? WC
sells one I believe.

Now I just don't think buying the WC one is a practical proposition
from Australia, so I'm looking at getting such a setup made locally.
Rather than have a potentially expensive trial and error process, I'd
like to talk to someone about a few of the details before I start.
This is for my new MkIV Sprite racecar.

Can anyone help?
