To all,

Elmo and I discussed the dysfunctional layout at Grattan, and identified
some changes that need to be considered. Since Jim and I haul the bulk of
the party goods, it's imperative that we are able to paddock together, in
contiguous space. Figure we need at least 50' of contiguous "pull in" space.
Jim packs the bulk of the food fixin's, tables, etc., and I'm hauling the
music.

So, in the future, since Jim and I arrive at every track from opposite
directions, and usually at different times, our scout team needs to consider
this when marking off Thicko Village.

At Grattan, on Sunday... bro Don and I packed up my canopies, humped all the
PA gear, cleaned up most of the area, moved the savable food to Jim's table,
and hit the road. We had tranny trouble on the 'burban on the way up, and
needed to hit the road early. Everyone needs to step up and do their share
in leaving the Village in decent shape.

The weekend was thoroughly enjoyable. It felt great to get back in a
racecar... thanks to Bernie and Barb Nevoral for the chance to drive their
Bugeye.

WST
