I've had my share of extra trips to the D.M.V. over the decades.
This last year I bought a TR3 that was last registered in 1983. It was no
longer in D.M.V.'s computer, so I needed to get the I.D. tag verified.

I used a registration services company this time. A person came to my house,
verified the TR, and filled out all the paper work, (sales tax, licence fee,new
plates, why no registration in 14 years form, the power to make changes for
me form) went to D.M.V. the next day, my plates and papers showed up in the
mail
 4 days later.

There are some loop holes, I'd rather not get into specifics.
The service charge of $45 and D.M.V. fees came to a grand total of $92.

That experience gave me the same feeling I used to get after getting gas when
there was a fuel crises back when, a feeling of scoring.

B.T.W. I'll be at Sears Point tomorrow, hope to see some Sunbeams there.

 Steve
