When I built a Tiger just for me I found a 2.72:1 rear gear set from a =E2=
=80=9880
Corvette, installed a TracLoc diff, and converted the Toploader to a
standard wide ratio. I built a 5-bolt 289 into a 331 CI with 400 HP. Even
with a Holley 670 it gets low 20=E2=80=99s mpg cruising comfortably at 75mp=
h.
That=E2=80=99s on 205/60-14=E2=80=9D tires.
