Comment: MEMO
i have a line on two interesting triumphs. both are street car but the
tr4 appears to have some kind of race (or rally) history and then put
back on the street. here goes:

1962 TR4-EARLY 3 DIGIT COMMISSION NUMBER "LO"-NO RUST/STRAIGHT
PANELS-AMERICAN RACING MAGS-HEADERS-PERIOD AFTERMARKET INTAKE
MANIFOLD-4.1:1 FD/DETROIT LOCKER-O.D. TRANSMISSION...this is a high
potential street restoration or vintage racer. it is located in
appleton,wisconsin, USA.

1954 tr2 - COMMISSION #TS00363L & IS ROUGH BUT LARGELY INTACT. PAPERWORK
FROM BRITISH HERITAGE(?) INDICATES CAR WAS PAINTED RED FROM THE FACTORY.
MY RESEARCH SAYS THAT THERE WERE NO RED CARS DURING THIS PERIOD EXCEPT
FOR A COUPLE "TEST MARKETING" VEHICLES. THE COMMISSION NUMBERS OF THOSE
"TEST" CARS DO NOT MATCH UP WITH THIS ONE SO IT IS UNUSUAL, IF NOT
VALUABLE. this one needs a very thorough restoration but could be
exciting to a few individuals who are desparate to have an early long
door. this one is located in a small town near eau claire, wisconsin,
USA.

if someone is seriously interested in either of these vehicles, please
contact me. i have no financial interest in either of them. (the owner
of the tr4 is a friend that is more interested in saabs.) i will provide
name & telephone number and leave the rest to you.

if someone off-shore or a long distance away is interested, i might be
willing to do some "footwork" under the right circumstances.
