Just a little note about A/N fittings, they aren't a 'drop in' part. A/N
fittings require a 37 (might be 39) degree angle on the flare while standard
automotive fittings use a 45 degree angle on the flare. What this boils
down to is that using A/N fittings on a car without adapting the seats on
the flexible lines and junctions will result in a much greater possibility
of failure! It also will greatly reduce the resale price on the car since it
has now been 'boogered' by a DPO. A.N fittings belong on aircraft and some
people use them on show cars but they have no place on any car that is to be
used on the street. Most weekend restorers do not have the specialized
equipment available to set a car up to use A/N fittinge in a safe manner.
It requires re-engineering of every part you get at the auto store to make
it compatible with the A/N spec. Standard auto parts are not compatible
with military specs and that's that.
