Just my two cents:
I have worked for four years for Hertz Rent-a-Car in Denmark (before coming
to the States) - and we would jump-start ALL of our cars if we had to -
whether it was a Ford Escort, Audi A8 Quattro, or Lexus LS400 - and none of
them ever suffered from any blown up electronics (and I think you have to
look hard to find any cars today that has more elec. gadgets than the Lexus....)
