I've apparently got the same sort of non-adjustable ZS carbs on
my '70 GT-6.  As far as I can tell there's no adjustment of the
needle at all.  You can adjust idle speed etc., but the mixture 
is fixed.  When the needle gets too worn, you're SOL.
