Hello Sean,

I called about this car, too, and it sounds like the owner knows what he's
talking about, and is being honest about the car's condition. Along with
what you heard, I learned that it's a 5-speed, and that the odometer does
not work, and that the car has over 120,000 miles on it, and most likely
has a non-original slant-4 engine in it; however, the owner says that it
runs and drives well and that the thermo-switch for the engine cooling
fan has been replaced with a manual one that he just switches on after
the car has warmed up.

I agree that it sounds like a good car for the money. The owner says that
he just has too many cars, winter storage is a problem, and he's going to
concentrate on the cars that he knows best -- FIATs !!

This car is advertized in the Auto Trader's Muscle, Classic & Sports Car
photo-ad magazine, Ohio edition. I'm taking the ad with me tonight to
the Miami Valley Triumph Club (TRA) local meeting, south of Dayton.
I just might be interested in this car myself, come to think of it !!

Best regards,
Tom Tweed
