I think the folks having such trouble mounting the springs must have the
wrong one whatever the label says.  I changed mine in 1991 (supplied by
Moss).  The job isn't easy but it is nothing like what you  guys are
describing.  I had them off again a few weeks ago to change the bushings,
and again no great problem.  I will measure them and we can compare lengths
if you like.
