To paraphrase Sammy Hagar "There's only one way NOT to Rock!". Buy a new pan, have the old one cut out, and the new one welded in. No pop rivets, no screws, no plywood and fiberglass! The floor pan contributs a lot of body strentgh in a roadster, so cutting corners won't do.
