A question for the listers:

My TR6 is in my garage, about to undergo another winter in storage. Last
winter, for quite some time, it was below freezing, maybe even close to
zero. Since then I have drained the cooling system to replace the water
hoses, and since I cannot run the engine yet, I cannot add coolant back
into the system in such a way that it would fill the entire system. The
question is: Is there any danger in leaving the motor without anything in
the water jackets in cold conditions like this? I can't figure why there
would be, but then I don't know everything, either!

Also, has anybody had any experience with coating the inside of TR6 gas
tanks? I have a resoration manual for my 240Z that recommends this.
Anybody have any suggestions? My tank is out now, and does have some rust
inside. A local paint store sells a compound for sealing fuel tanks, and I
think that I'll do it soon. Thanks for your advice.
