I am not sure where this started but people ahve been posting the numbers off
their 6 engines. I finally had a chance to look at mine so here they are:
76 TR6 - CF58310 UO
Engine - CF48160 UE
Head - this is weird perhaps but I don't kno wwhich number you are after so
here are all thenumbers on my head starting from the rear of the engine (+
represents a stud):
+ V3297 + STANPART + 10F6 + 188 3 (or 189 3) + 313247 + 219019 +
All but the last of these (ie all but the 219019) are raised characters and
painted over with the black paint the block and head are painted with.
The last number (219019) is stamped on a flattened spot similar to the engine
block number. The characters are inset in the metal as opposed to raised liek
all the other numbers.
I hope these are the numbers that are being sought.
