Seems that all TR6's in North America had painted rocker covers, the change being at CC50000. A photo from the 1969/70 sales brochure for a UK TR6 PI also shows a painted cover. Photos of UK cars from various 1969 road test magazine articles show both chromed and painted, however. Rod.
