FWIW, as the owner of a TR3 and a Volvo 122 (daily driver in Minnesota), I 
sent a copy of the original post to the Volvo list.  Haven't gotten any 
replies yet.  But there are only a few (couple dozen) of us 122/544 types on 
the list.  And those that are may not be familiar with whether their M40 or 
M41 works in a Triumph.  As I am certainly not.
