TR-6 differential

        Upon inspecting my diff I find a cracked mount on the left rear.  It
lookes like the mount is part of the diff cover.  I haven't removed the diff
yet  so don't know completely what it looks like.  If it is composed of the
same material as the diff cover, can it be welded or is it some other kind
of metal/material?  Thanks      Gary Nafziger, Iowa
