Another method I have found very successful for holding the flywheel while
removing the bolts, and I've used this on many different vehicles, not just
LBC's is to use a vise-grip.  Find a place on the edge of the flywheel next
to something solid, like a pin.  (dont' use a stud for risk of damaging the
threads ) the block itself, or some mounting plate hole large enough to fit
the pliers into (starter mounting hole?) and attach the vise-grip fairly
tightly onto the flywheel ( I've even used the ring gear for this ).  Rotate
the flywheel untill you contact said object and remove, or tighten the
flywheel bolts as required.  Worked every time for me, especially handy in
bone yards when no breaker bar or buddy is handy!
