she cut-off

i was just driving along and suddenly my 78 spit just cut-off no warning 
 i have headlights horn turn signals, no dash lights, wipers radio but   
 most of all no starter. hit the key & nothing, all fuses on firewall are 
 o-k . is there a in line fuse or where should i look.
