SOL'ers
A friend of mine modified both of his TR3 side curtains. He installed
"Lift-the-Dot" posts in a tapped hole in the top edge of each side curtain.
The post was just above the sliding window facing out and horizontal to the
ground, about in the middle of the side curtain. The female "Lift-the-Dot"
fittings were installed in the flap. By sliding the window open and using
both hands the top could be secured to the side curtain with the
"Lift-the-Dot" fastener!
This fix worked very well, I rallied as navigator in this car in several
winter rallies and it was definitely an improvement.
Not Concours, but very functional.
