It seems the FDPO's shop had used a FAIW (Air Impact Wrench) (I'm making these
up) to F___ the threads in my rear A arms. You know, the 6 bolts that hold the
hub in place, 4 are stripped out. I found a reciept in the glove box for a
u-joint replacement on that side of the car. Damn Hammer Mechanics!!
Now that I've got that off of my chest, does anyone have any suggestions.
Whitworth helicoil? Or just tap it out to the next size up? Or does someone have
a left hand A arm for a '74 reasonable?
