Pierre- Yves Morissette,
I'm not really clear on what your describing but the bumper and the body
curves should match fairly closely with approximately an inch gap all around
(except for the four mounting brackets). The body shape is the same as all
MK 4's and 1500's. Your rear bumper should be one piece chrome plated with
a two light licence plate illuminator directly in th center with a "TRIUMPH"
plate affixed, and looking directly down from the top of the car, should be
almost straight accross the back with two sharply curved almost 90 degree
sections extending toward the front of the car to the wheel arch lip. The
cross section of the bumper should be a distinct "L" shape. The 90 degree
bends are fairly sharp as opposed to the gentler radius of the two piece
units used on the eairler MK's and the cross section of the two piece units
are much closer to a 90 degree arc. Hope that helps.
