No, that makes 2.6 litres. Assuming you are speaking of the 2.5 six.

A real plus point is that you can still use the standard head gasket -
larger overbores require special arrangements. 

I have just installed +.060 Venolia forged pistons. I have little
experience yet, but my initial reaction is that I have a feeling the
specified skirt clearance is perhaps rather excessive for road use? When
starting from cold, there is a very noticeable amount of audible piston
slap. It improves on warming up, but never disappears.

I've also heard of Mazda 1300 pistons, although I didn't know they were 
forged?

OEM pistons (Hepolite, AE) pistons are quite inexpensive, I can't imagine
anything would be available at 1/4 of that price.
