Anyone need a TR4 engine? We're putting a fresh engine in our TR4 and I`m
just tripping over the old one. I`d like to sell it to a good home as soon
as possible. Some details:

TR4 Engine, TS37???E
Purchased in 1992 to replace the DPO overmodified engine in our 1962 TR4 so
we could attend the 1992 VTR National Convention in Savannah. All I did was
clean it up, replace the bearings, timing chain tensioner, and re-clearance
the oil pump. It's got good compression and holds excellent oil pressure.
Since we put it in our TR4 we`ve put 12,000 worry-free miles on the car.
It's being replaced because we found an engine with a number which is much
closer to what the car would have had in it. Not that I'm turning into an
originality freak or anything....

What one gets is the block and head sans manifold, valve cover, and other
external accessories. The head is still om the block, and I will throw in
an early intake manifold. The first person who shows up at our door with
$125 or a running TR7 engine of '79 vintage gets it.

No, don't ask me where I`ll put a TR7 engine if somebody trades me. I'm
still trying to fit in the 215 V8`s that I'm trading for other TR7 engines.
Will TR7 engines fit 18hp Briggs and Stratton powered lawn mowers?

'54 TR2 - For Sale, but not pushing it as hard as I should - something about
          being sentimental...
'62 TR4 - Nicknamed "Pandora" Why? You'd know if you worked on it.
'79 TR7 - "The Infidel", my daily driver.
'81 TR7 - "The Heretic", awaiting warmer weather.
'90 Dodge Grand Caravan - For Sale, $3700, inhereted from my wife...
'95 Chevy Blazer - A minor victory. I talked her out of the Rover Discovery,
saved $16,000, and she can still get up the driveway.
                   (and tow the TR7 behind...)
