The car has got home, and I've ripped the wheel off.

When I changed the wheel bearings I found that one of the inner races had
spun on the hub, so I bought a second hand hub (new being impossible to
source in any kind of hurry over here) from one of the local Triumph
specialists. Well it's seems that this hub is running well and truely out
of true now!!!

The exact cause of this is unclear, however as a press was used for
installation of the hubs (very carefully and with no hammers in sight), and
the whole drive flange seems to be mounted offset to the axle!!!!!!. Don't
know why (I've heard that sometimes the hub shears at the outer bearing?).

I think I'll be making a visit to the "specialist" tomorrow.

Let you know when I get it apart, which may be this weekend, however I have
taken on LHD to RHD conversions and the garage is full of other peoples
cars now (I thought that after all the work we've done lately that the car
would be reliable now).
