No no, Pete,

This is the car that was designed for the venmerable twin cam 6
that Jaguar designed in 1948.  This engine was used in some form
until they redesigned the XJ6 in the eighty's.  IMO the engine was
much more refined than the car for many years (although the car
was years ahead of the competition).
