ONe thing I have done over the past year as I have been rebuilding my TR6 is to use good, solid short lengths of 8x8 or 10x10 lumber, and place them directly under the frame right next to the jack stands. Place them across the frame for stability, but laying flat on the floor. Four pieces of solid timber give good support, sometimes with thinner pieces of wood as shims.
