I've just finished modifying an old Singer sewing machine (a freebie)
to handle the thicker thread & Robbins top fabric that I'm going to use
to rebuild my side curtains & have some questions.
Has anyone done this themselves? Any hints?
I've noticed in some photos that there seems to be some type of padding
on the inside of the Dzus mount curtains where they contact the car
body. Can anyone tell me what this is or describe it? TRF doesn't list
anything like this in their list of availiable parts.
I've just run some stitches through some of the fabric & the results are
pretty much identical to the original (what's left, anyway) so I'm
confident that I can duplicate as much as I'm aware of.
