Bob-

I have the ignitor on my 74 TR6 with Sport coil and am running a .035 gap ( at
the direction of rgb). I got better results with the hotter plugs from both NGK
and Champion ( BP5ES and 12NY respectively) than with the so called stock plugs
. At the moment I am experimenting with AC Rapidfires, which require .035 for
all applications. These plugs are the ones with the multigrooves. So far pretty
smooth. I also upgraded to Accell 8mm hi-performance plug wires to get the most
out of the hot coil. Total effect of the entire upgrade is significant-better
torque curve, much smoother idle, and it even helps the darned rich running
Webers. I have seen posts of people who have upped the gap all the way to .050.
Haven't tried that yet-maybe when everything else on the car gets fixed (yeah,
right) / 8^P
