I have had friends in Louisiana and in Texas who have had these classes
work on their cars, both mechanical and paint-wise, for the cost of
supplies, and have come out with rather well-done work.  Call your local
vo-tech or high school and see if they accept project cars -- there is
usually a waiting list.
