It's my guess that the one made in Oz is a PBR repro part.  I think they
bought all the molds from Girling, a lot of my rebuild kits were made in
Oz (by PBR).  No problems with them so far.

However, I think you can still get genuine Girling master cylinders, but
be prepared to pay a premium!  I'm not sure if Girling is still making
them, so you may have to fight for a NOS one, or be satisfied with a good
used one.

OR you can get a beat-up used one and have it re-sleeved in stainless or
brass.  Again, mucho $$$.
