I came across an old book: Written in August 1967 and published

some time afterward. Its title is

 Triumph TR
 Maintenance Modification & Tuning
It is pretty interesting. Most of the info is the same that is able to be
found in other places. It does mention some particulars that may
not be routinely available today. One is a "good" setting for the
weber 42 DCOE:
Choke-35, Main Jet-145, Emulsion Tube-F16, Air correction-190,
Pump jet-35, Idling jet-45F9. This is what was used at the time
by "Lawrencetune". I never heard of that establishment. This
weber setup seeme to have been used for otherwise stock
TR2-4A.

It also mentions the use of a Tecalemit-Jackson fuel
injection system which appears to have been adapted
from the TR5. They suggest contacting Tecalemit-Jackson,
Lawrencetune, or S.A.H. Anybody actually see a 4 cylinder
TR with semi-original fuel injection?

There apparently was a Lawrencetune crossflow 4
cylinder head.

There is a humorous photograph in the book. A TR4A
parked along the roadside in France somewhere. The
road sign shows the town name: Anus!

Unfortunately, the book has extensive water damage.
