For any and all living in the northern half of New England (or for anyone
else with a spirit of adventure), this is the weekend for the New Engalnd
Triumph's (in)famous Lobster Tour on Saturday, and then the Down East
British Car Classic on Sunday in Cape Elizabeth, ME.
Bob Morneau puts on a really great show every year, and this year's will be
a little different as he is moving away from the judged type of show into a
more social kind of event. Although there won't be any trophies, there
will be plenty of door prizes (by raffle) and the usual "goodie" bag that
each entrant gets. The setting couldn't be more spectacular -- the Ft.
Williams park, right on the ocean with the Portland Head Lighthouse right
there. He's arranged for a "Beefeater" to guard the park entrance and wave
all LBCs through, as well as a Scottish piper to entertain us through the
day. The weather forecast for Sunday is very promising, so consider
spending the day with us up here in "Vacationland".
