I predict I will get no responses from this request, but what the heck:
I'm looking for a 3.45 differential, preferably with a solid spacer (these
diffs usually have a slotted nut holding the pinion flange on). This ratio
was used on the 2.5 PI, and the 2000 saloons. I would prefer a differential
from a 2.5 PI since (correct me if I'm wrong) the mounting is the same as
the TR6.
I realize that this gear ratio is available NEW through all of the normal
distributors, however, the $300 price tag combined with either the cost of
installation is rather excessive (my installer works cheap but consumes a
LOT of beer when working on the TR).
I do have some leads on several 2000 diffs / ring and pinion sets in the
land of Aus but I thought I would check one last time before committing to
the shipping costs!
