Hi again,

I was at the Battle of the Brits last weekend and had the unfortunate experience
of the car (73 TR6) not starting when it was time to leave. Many thanks to my
fellow members of the DTSC for helping me get it going to get home.

Here are the questions:
1) It was determined that one problem was that the Intake/Exhaust manifold
gasket was burnt between the fifth and sixth cylinder, causing a leak and the
engine to only run on five cylinders. Any advice on the best technique to
replace this gasket?

2) The spark off my brand new Lucas Sport Coil seemed pathetically weak. I have
checked all the connections with a volt meter and the numbers are good. The
ballast resistor has been properly bypassed. Could a bad condensor cause this
problem?

3) OK so I am an extreme novice. How do I turn the engine to set the points
gap? (Using the starter is an excercise in frustration, and I can't seem to
figure how to get a wrench anywhere near a useful place) Any rudimentary
instructions on this basic tune-up procedure would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks to all for your help in the past and in the future.
