TR& mystery dash bracket

I have a support bracket that goes under the DRIVER'S side of the dash,
or on the steering column, but I can't work out exactly where.

It's rolled to a near-round section, about 7-8" long with flattened,
angled ends, each with an eye for a bolt. It's not the wiring duct that
goes under the steering column, but it's about the same size.


Can anyone tell me exactly where it should attach at each end?
