Folks,

Thanks for all the replies.  As several lister's mentioned, I did the logical 
thing and bought an engine locally.  Our 61 Fury "tow" vehicle has a 1961 361 
Wedge going into it.   The poly 318 will head into the "boat anchor" status 
along with several shot TR3 blocks I once had (the arguement is still open as 
to which makes a better anchor!).
