Listers,

Anyone know of a source for a TR6 speedo to fit a 76 but that uses
kilometers per hour as its primary unit instead of the more common miles per
hour?

Living in Canada I would like to change my original to one more tailored to
our metric measurements. Also I am interested in preserving the same look as
my original speedo as far as face style and indicator lights (blue for high
beam and green for turn signal).

As far as I know, the CF1 and later cars had the speedo I want. My car also
has the 3.7:1 rear axle (PI cars had 3.45:1). For what it's worth, my
current speedo has the following text in very small characters along the
bottom edge of the display: "SN 6411/10 1000". I suspect this is some sort
of calibration info.

The Roadster Factory lists a part number of 218828 but that is of course not
available. Any non-North American listers know where one of these might be
available (preferably used so as to avoid the all plastic construction Barry
Schwartz alluded to in a recent post on new Smith's gauges)?

Thanks in advance for any leads,
