Hi Charlie,

Yes, the book calls them safety harness connections.  Art Kelly and I 
were trying to determine if they were factory installed or installed by 
Triumph service people at a later time.  My car appears to have the 
spot welded in place.  They are not on TR4A's and it appears the later 
TR4's don't have theim either.  My TR4 is CT288L and they are present.
