Yes, they might be.  Or maybe silk screened, or similar.  Brian Schlorff
and I  may try to
do this on my chronometric....

I have seen some 1000 speedos around.  I think they were out of MGB's. 
They were lying
scattered on flea market tables, and I am not positive what they came from.
 MOst of the stuff was MG.
Might have been an MGA.....
