RE: dye for vinyl interior

Light colors over dark colors works just fine.   You've got to take your
time and spray fairly light coats, let dry for a few minutes,
spray another coat, etc.     

I"ve seen dark red covered with beige and black covered with light blue and
you could not tell what color the base vinyl started out as without looking
at the end of the piece.
