Just to confuse the story. Late '72's had lights under the dash which were
operated off the doors and a switch on the dash support. Earlier '72's had
the light behind the seats.

The interior light moved around in the TR6's depending on the year of
manufacture. Mine (1972 TR6) has the interior light mounted aft of the
parking brake (behind the seats). I believe that the later cars (1973 1/2
and up ?) moved the interior lights to the radio plinth/ dash support.
