Yes,
They are linked to the same circuit comming off the fuse box. I had the same
thing happen on my '74 and I jiggled the wires(brown ones on side of box
closest to the front of car) and then their back live again. I had it happen
one more time(in the past 5000 miles since) and same scenario. I dont remember
which wire but they are 'joined at the hip'. Eventually it will happen again
and maybe I'll do something real about it. You may have the same problem(i.e a
break in the wire or bad connection at the fuse box).
