I did not forget about that. There is probably less then half of us that are
metric converted. Why am I saying that you may ask? It's because most
"metric" people are part of the younger generation which I still consider
myself part of. You see, I'm pretty sure that I'm under the average age of
the members of this list. I'm 28 (yep, almost still wet behind the ears!!!
;-) ).
In any case, even myself uses "english imperial" on a fairly regular bases.
Like my height... 1m 97cm, 118kg (or 6'6", 260lbs :-0 !!!)
Hummmm, I can already hear lister wondering: "How the hell is he gonna fit in
that car!?!?!?!?!?". Let's just say that even though I havent started the
restoration yet (but soon: I just received the stuff I ordered to build my
shelves so that I can put all the parts somewhere else then the floor!) I'm
already planning on how I'm gonna solve that problem.
Enough blabla for now, gotta go to my first meeting with my local Triumph
club.
