Ok, I posted yesterday about changing the bumpers on my 79 Spitfire. I've
currently got the giant black bumpers, and I'd like to revert to the
Chrome bumpers on the 78 spit. My question is whether anyone knows how
differnt the front "quarter valence," grill and spoiler are from 78 to 79?
Have any other 79-80 owners out there made this change?

On a related note; I am now leaning towards taking the tub off of the
frame, although there is no rust to speak of on either, just to get things
really well prepped. I'd originally been hesitant to do this, since I
didn't want to pringle the body, and didn't want to get involved in
welding braces across the door frames. However, some web page (Joe
Curry's I think) on removing the body bolts suggests that the body won't
pringle if the rust isn't bad. What kind of experience have folks had
with the body bending when taken off of the frame?

Finally, has anybody got a picture of a 1500 painted "Triumph Racing Green
(Conifer)"?

Thanks!

Scott
