I don't usually broadcast jokes, but this one I just had to!

Heard on a marine radio frequency somewhere in the North Atlantic.

Ship, "Radar contact at ..... degrees north ..... degrees east please
change your course by 15 degrees south."

Radar Contact, "This Radar Contact at .... degrees north .... degrees
east, suggest you change your course by 15 degrees north."

Ship, "Radar Contact I am a very large ship and I will take a very large
distance to stop, or change course, please change your course by 15 degrees
south."

Radar Contact, "This is Radar Contact, if you wish to avoid a collision,
suggest you change course by 15 degrees north."

Ship, "Radar Contact this is Captain Anderson of the USS Enterprise the
second largest aircraft carrier in the world. I am escorted by 6
Destroyers, 4 Frigates and a brace of Nuclear Submarines. I command you to
change your course by 15 degrees to the south."

Radar Contact, "This is Radar Contact, I am the Canadian Lighthouse at
(wherever) .............. your call!"
