After gathering all of the pieces required to rebuild my hardtop (new seals,
headliner, deck pads, etc.) I spent three days putting it together to great
success. Headliner tight as a snare drum, clean windows with full sealing,
etc. I learned many, many tricks in doing this and am assembling a procedure
on disassembly, preparation, parts required, assembly, and finally tips (I
am a technical writer by trade). If anyone is in the process right now and
would like some pointers, mail me. Otherwise, I'd like to submit my writeup
for review by the listers who are living with a hardtop at this time: feel
free to mail me and get on the list. The text will be in a .txt format, but
the final will be HTML-based.
